Having a back yard in the Philippines
Back yard is the yard behind the house. An area regarded as one’s private property or domain. The back area is known as the back yard. The front area is known as the front yard. Yard is the combining form like churchyards, stable yards, graveyards, farmyards, courtyards. The front yards weren't in use as much and so stayed as two words, or maybe front yards came much later. In towns, people had backyards, but generally didn't have front yards. Or maybe it should just be a yard.
In cold-weather regions, it is economical in low land value regions to use open land surrounding a house for vegetable gardening during summers and allowing strongly demanded sunlight to enter house windows from a low horizon angle during winters. The houses are built nearer to each other. In order to preserve some of the open land, house owners may choose to allow construction on the side land of their houses, but not build in front of or behind their house in order to preserve some remnants of open surrounding land.
In the Philippines the Pilipino wants to have own backyard. Some of them planted tree or put some decoration. Like this season, this coming November they decorate the Halloween theme. Some village has a contest best in decoration for their back ground. If you have a wide or big backyard you have a lot of this to do.
When I was a kid I want to have an owned house with wider background. I want to have a lot of plants, flowers and trees. Also I want to put a swing for my kid. Also, if it is summer we must also a kiddie pool to relax and refresh during that time. Even though it’s hard to maintained the nice and beautiful background. We have a lot of things to do if you have this. Also I want to decorate my back yard especially in Christmas season. I will make livelier than others. So that they recognized and appreciate my own designed of my back yard. They will enjoy my backyard decoration.
